LighthouseGlobal Mission

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Sri Lanka

When the water went down, the need stayed

Lighthouse Global Mission was formed in December 2025, in the days after severe flooding tore through the Gampola region of Sri Lanka. We work through Lighthouse Church Gampola and local volunteers to feed families, rebuild damaged homes, and get people the medicine and supplies they lost.

Impact

How your giving is handled

  • 100%

    Volunteer-run

Every director and officer serves without pay. The relief work in Sri Lanka is carried out by local volunteers known personally to our founder.

  • $0

    Paid in salaries

No officer, director, or staff member receives compensation of any kind.

  • 50/50

    Relief and ministry

Donations are split between direct relief aid and ministry support, with every expenditure documented and reported to the board.

Who we are

A family board, a local church, and one shared conviction

We are a small Texas nonprofit with no payroll and no overhead — four directors who put an organization around work that was already happening. Our partners on the ground are people we know by name, at a church that was itself damaged in the flood and kept serving anyway.
