About us

Lighthouse Global Mission Inc. is a volunteer-run Christian relief organization based in Dallas, Texas, supporting families and churches in Sri Lanka.

How it started

Our story

In late 2025, severe flooding swept through the Gampola region of Sri Lanka. Homes were filled with debris and water. Families lost food, clothing, bedding, and the basic electrical items that make a house livable. Lighthouse Church Gampola — itself damaged in the flood — kept its doors open and began helping neighbors clean up and rebuild.

Lighthouse Global Mission Inc. was formed in Dallas, Texas on December 2, 2025 to put a transparent, accountable structure around that response. The board met that same month with two items on the agenda: open a nonprofit bank account so donations could be received and tracked properly, and begin raising support for relief and rebuilding in Gampola. In March 2026, the IRS recognized the organization as a 501(c)(3) public charity.

The model is deliberately simple. There is no payroll and no paid administration. All four directors serve without compensation, and the work in Sri Lanka is carried out by volunteers our founder knows personally — not contractors. No funds are handed to individuals without receipts. Every expenditure is documented, converted to its US dollar equivalent, and reported to the board.

[OPTIONAL — a paragraph on where the work is heading next: what you hope to be doing in a year, whether that is continued rebuilding in Gampola, ongoing support for the church, or reaching other communities.]

The facts below are already documented and can be woven in: he serves as President without compensation, and the volunteers carrying out the work in Sri Lanka are people he knows personally.]
